How does payment work between families and caregivers?
VillageAcres connects you, but payment is handled directly between families and caregivers. There are no booking fees or commissions. You agree on rates and payment methods together.
What does the background check include?
All caregivers must complete a Checkr Essential background check that includes SSN verification, national criminal database search, sex offender registry search (all 50 states), and global watchlist search. Additionally, every caregiver is manually reviewed and verified by our team before their profile is made available to families.
Why is it free for caregivers?
We believe experienced caregivers should be able to connect with families without any financial barriers. By keeping it free for caregivers, we attract the best grandmothers and experienced women who want to make a difference.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes! Families can cancel anytime from their account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach in South Florida. We plan to expand to other areas soon. Sign up to be notified when we launch in your area!
