For Families
How much does it cost?
For families, it's $5/month with no booking fees or commissions. You pay your Villager directly at whatever rate you agree on together.
How are Villagers vetted?
Every Villager on Village Acres completes a Checkr Essential background check - including a sex offender registry search - and is manually reviewed by our team before their profile goes live.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach in South Florida. We're expanding soon - reach out if you'd like to see us in your area.
For Villagers
How do I join?
Click "Sign Up" and select "I want to be a Villager." You'll build a profile, complete a background check, and our team will review and approve it before it goes live.
What does the background check involve?
We use Checkr's Essential package, which includes: SSN Trace, County Criminal Search (Last 7 Years), National Criminal Search (Standard), Sex Offender Search, and Global Watchlist Search. There is a one-time $54.99 background check fee to get verified and go live on the platform. After that, there are no monthly fees or commissions - ever. Founding Villagers on the platform receive the background check at no charge.
When will my profile go live?
Once your background check clears and our team approves your profile, you'll be visible to families in your area. The review usually takes 1–3 business days after your background check is complete.
